Elva Cars www.elvacourier.com

This ELVA COURIER website is part of the group of official ELVA sites of which www.elva.com is the hub. It is my intention to provide you with some facts and figures about the history of the various models of the ELVA COURIER, to include some previously untold stories about people who have been involved with ELVA, and of course the COURIER, and I hope that these stories will be of interest.

The Elva Courier Story

Tony Ellis: 1933-2001

Tony Ellis: The Courier and the Elva 3000 "Cougar"

Part 1 ... a brief insight into the beginning and the end of the COURIER saga, although this just could be a story without an ending?

The 'Le Mans' Courier Story

Part 2 ... "the ELVA COURIER that raced at Le Mans - Or did it?"

Next part?
"Trace Elements". The Courier driver who became a Champion ... but also bounced a rear wheel right over the Silverstone grandstand!

I hope that these websites will be an incentive for you to consider a future purchase of the book about 'ELVA CARS', which we anticipate will be published within the next twelve months?

THE ELVA COURIER HANDBOOK

You might not be aware that Elva Engineering produced duplicated instruction sheets for the Bexhill and Hastings built cars, while Trojan Ltd. published a proper handbook for the cars they produced. Obviously, these are rather like 'hens teeth' to find now. I do have a few original handbooks but also propose to reproduce a limited number of copies for Courier owners, or motoring ephemera collectors alike. If you are interested then contact me for full details.

I look forward to hearing from you,
Roger Dunbar
